U.S.G.A Rules govern all play except When Modified by Local Rules.

1. Out of Bounds are defined by the white stakes and roads.
2. Free drop from paths, trees with ribbons, and sprinkler heads.
3. Waste Bunkers - You can ground your club - Loose impediments are considered the same as the rough, not hazards.
4. Each player must have a bag and clubs.
5. Please play fast (slow players allow faster players to play through).
6. Please keep carts away from tees, greens, trees with ribbons, and bunkers.
7. Please help maintain our course by replacing divots, raking traps, repairing ball marks on greens and disposing of trash in the proper containers.

Rum River Hills Men's Club Rules

1. In order to participate in events you must have at least (5) five 18-hole rounds posted and you must continue to post 18-hole rounds throughout the season.
2. Upon arriving for an event, check in at the Clubroom and the Pro-shop at least 15 minutes before your tee time.
3. Print legibly.  Turn in a legible scorecards including names, (first and last); 3-Digit Local #; total gross scores; current 18-hole handicap; net score; adjusted score; and team net score, when applicable.
4. To determine which holes are your handicap holes, simply follow the handicap listing on the scorecard.  Players with odd numbered handicaps receive the extra stroke on the front nine (i.e., a 13 handicap gets 7 strokes on the front nine and 6 strokes on the back nine).
5. When applicable, exchange scorecards with your opponent(s).  Be sure you turn in only one scorecard per team.
6. Be sure to turn in a correct scorecard.  Incorrect or incomplete scorecards are penalized 2 strokes, or may result in disqualification.
7. Be sure to post your adjusted score on the computer. (RRHMC events are automatically posted).  For adjusting your score, the following rule is used: 0-9 handicaps can take a maximum Double Bogey per hole; 10 to 19 maximum a max of 7 strokes; 20 to 29 a max of 8 strokes; and 30 to 37 a max of 9 strokes.  (NOTE:  37 is the maximum handicap allowed in the club.)
8. The deadline for scorecards to be turned in is 1/2 hour after the event.  If you continue to play after your last hole, be sure someone turns in your scores, or risk disqualification.
9. Every player should attest the scorecard before turning it in.
